This conceptual portrait series was inspired by the Modigliani like beauty of 16-year-old Yosita Cheesman. I was interested in portraying the confusing moment in a young woman's life where one still has a foot in childhood with the other anxiously aspiring to womanhood.  An age full of doubts and experiments with one's 'alter egos'. Ultimately a quest of finding one's self.
